1. Introduction

"The Siege: Break the Loop" ("The Siege" or "the App") is developed and maintained by a solo independent developer.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

The Siege is designed as a self-management and habit-tracking tool to support personal discipline and reflection.

2. Medical Disclaimer (Important)

The Siege is not a medical or therapeutic device.

The content, tools, prompts, and techniques provided in the App are for self-help and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or severe distress, contact a licensed medical professional or emergency services immediately.

3. Data Privacy – Your Data Stays on Your Device

The Siege is built with a privacy-first philosophy.

For the current version (Version 1):

Local Storage Only

All journal entries, reflections, habit logs, streaks, and internal progress data are stored locally on your device using SQLite.

No Cloud Sync

The Siege does not upload, transmit, or store your journal entries or personal reflections on any external server.

No Account Required

The App does not require your name, email address, phone number, or personal identity information.

Anonymous Local Identifier

A random UUID is generated locally on your device to manage streaks and internal tracking. This identifier never leaves your device.

If you uninstall the App, your data is permanently deleted unless you manually export it beforehand.

The Siege itself does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal user data.
